ducktales is SO good. i wish i could watch it for the first time all over again. like with my rise thread, it's a lot of screenshots and me saying "SO CUTE RAAAAH", bc i'm not very eloquent when i really like a show or its characters.
as you might predict (and you'll see this), my favorites are the triplets, who i've loved since i was a child watching house of mouse. it's incredibly hard to pick a favorite – which is wild to me, because i've had lots of practice picking a fave...
this is even more screenshot heavy than rise, and that's AFTER i went through and cut out 90% of the "so cute!!!!" tweets and frames i just saved as reference. when i first assembled it (partway through s3) i had 750+ screenshots.
i've not hidden any spoilers, so if you haven't seen the show, go watch it first!!! i promise it's good!

small detail i love: huey's hand is the bottom hand for both of them (supports both as the big brother), louie's is the top for both (youngest and most able to lean on the other two), and dewey's half and half. perfection.

ohhh i love them. this was such a good show. i didn't cry but didn't expect to anyway – i knew the finale would (much like the rest of the show) just make me smile so so much.

they're both very cutely drawn here. sad dewey is so precious... after dewey started taking a bit more of a backseat for his brothers in s2 and s3, it's nice to revisit peak dewey worms in s1 :)
