ducktales is SO good. i wish i could watch it for the first time all over again. like with my rise thread, it's a lot of screenshots and me saying "SO CUTE RAAAAH", bc i'm not very eloquent when i really like a show or its characters.
as you might predict (and you'll see this), my favorites are the triplets, who i've loved since i was a child watching house of mouse. it's incredibly hard to pick a favorite – which is wild to me, because i've had lots of practice picking a fave...
this is even more screenshot heavy than rise, and that's AFTER i went through and cut out 90% of the "so cute!!!!" tweets and frames i just saved as reference. when i first assembled it (partway through s3) i had 750+ screenshots.
i've not hidden any spoilers, so if you haven't seen the show, go watch it first!!! i promise it's good!

interesting to me that they made dewey and louie's personalities not too different from e/o. you usually make it so that the brothers are all super distinct (see: osomatsu-san, tmnt) but this is honestly pretty realistic - like of course they're kind of similar, they're brothers
but it's funny that it's huey vs the brats. huey is such a do-gooder... cute...

oh in this episode donnie's VA says "cool cool cool" right after huey (danny pudi) talks and i had to pause bc i'm used to hearing danny (as abed) say "cool cool cool" in that same exact way. this show was meant to cause me harm
